Hello! I would really like to see again. My left eye is currently less than user friendly. Due to multiple retinal detachments I am currently dealing with an abundance of scar tissue and an oil bubble in my left eye. As a result I currently have no peripheral vision in that eye, my forward vision is extremely blurry and I am constantly exhausted by my brain attempting to reconcile 2 very different streams of information.

My surgeon is confident that a 4th surgery will drastically improve the quality of vision in my left eye, to the point that I may actually be able to read again (I truly miss reading).

I have short term disability insurance which will cover 80% of my wage after 2 weeks. With this go-fund-me, I am hoping to garner enough support to cover the remaining 20%, my insurance deductible and incidental costs associated with my surgery.
