For my senior project, I am creating a website and fundraiser to support an elementary school in the Philippines. Growing up, I heard from my family about the challenges students face when they don’t have enough resources at school. When I talked with family and school staff, I learned that the school still needs help improving classrooms and getting more books for students.
Many classrooms do not have enough shelves, proper flooring, or enough books for students to learn from. This project is important to me because I believe every child deserves a safe and good place to learn.
By raising funds, I hope to provide reading books, classroom shelves, better flooring, and other improvements that can make a real difference in students’ daily lives. I also want to use this project to connect people and create something positive.
