We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support on behalf of our cousin, Imole—fondly called Bright. Imole is a loving husband, a father of three beautiful children, and a cherished member of our family and community. He is now in urgent need of life-saving surgery that could help him regain the ability to walk and return to his family and daily life.

Back in 2016, Imole developed a lesion on his lower leg that, due to lack of proper treatment, worsened over time. After several tests and visits to specialists this year, he was diagnosed with Tuberculous Spondylitis—a serious and rare form of tuberculosis that affects the spine.

This disease has severely damaged the vertebral discs in his back, leaving him unable to walk without assistance. His condition has drastically impacted his quality of life and taken a toll on his physical, emotional, and financial well-being.

The Road to Recovery

Doctors have recommended a two-phase surgery, which involves the implantation of steel discs to stabilize and support his spine. This procedure is critical not only to relieve his pain but also to give him a real chance at recovery and independence. With successful surgery and rehabilitation, Imole can begin to reclaim his life.

Why We Need Your Help

So far, Imole’s family has shouldered the immense burden of his medical expenses—doing everything they can to keep up with treatments, tests, and hospital visits. But with the cost of the upcoming surgeries, medication, post-op care, and rehabilitation, the financial strain has become too much to bear alone.

Imole’s absence has also had a ripple effect on his own household, leaving his wife and three young children struggling without his support.
