Help Imanya represent Australia @ Frisbee World Championship

Hey everyone! My name is Imanya, and I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve been selected to represent Australia as part of the U-24 Mixed Ultimate Frisbee Team at the World Under-24 Ultimate Championships in Logroño, Spain this June 2025!

 

I was first introduced to the sport by my high school P.E teacher, who convinced us to complete at a local high school tournament, which piqued my interest. My ultimate frisbee career started when I joined Monash Ultimate in my first year of university. Ever since, I’ve completed in many tournaments and progressed to play at Division I level with Ellipsis Ultimate. Throughout this journey, I played an active role, leading within the Monash Ultimate community over the last couple of years. In 2022, I was fortunate enough to represent Australia at the Under-20 level.

 

Ultimate Frisbee has been a huge part of my life, and the opportunity to compete at this level is a dream come true. This prestigious tournament will bring together the best players in the under 24 age bracket from all over the world, and I’m incredibly honoured to have earned a spot on the team.

 

However, as with any international competition, there are significant costs associated with flights, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees and training camps.

The overall cost of the campaign is $10,000+. 

The entire campaign is fully self-funded as ultimate frisbee receives no government funding.
