Help Imani Heal From Brain Surgery and Be There for Her Kids

Hi, my name is Imani and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in my life. I’m a mom to two amazing kids who mean the world to me. Recently, i started struggling with constant headaches. Crippling pain from my head down to my neck. I went to the ER three days in a row and was sent home all three times. But I knew something wasn’t right so I went to an eye doctor when I noticed I woke up with really bad vision. Long story short , they ended up sending me to the ER for a FOURTH time and admitting me. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days . They did a spinal tap and my spinal fluid levels were at 60(normal is 15-20). Instead relied on the headache but my eyesight was no luck. On the follow up appointment , I found out that I need urgent brain surgery,(shunt) and because of this, I’ve been written out of work. This news has been overwhelming and terrifying- I have never even so much as had the flu. While I’m doing my best to stay strong for my children, the financial strain of surgery, recovery, and our daily living expenses feels like too much to handle on my own.

I’ve always been the one to support and provide for my kids, but right now, I need to ask for help so that I can focus on healing and eventually get back to taking care of my family. Every donation will go toward my medical bills, recovery costs, and mainly essential expenses, making this difficult journey a little easier and more manageable for us mentally and financially.
