Help Imani and Hamidu Rebuild After Fire

As-Salamu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace),

My name is Zakayah! On Sunday, March 9th while we were enjoying our Iftar at the Islamic Center, my sister and her husband's apartment was going up in flames. Al-Hamdulillah, no one was home. However, they have lost their home and prized possessions.

During this blessed month of Ramadan, I am sincerely requesting Dua for my sister, Imani and her husband, Hamidu. Although, they are both in high spirits and Iman, they are in need of our community support to make this difficult situation easy on them. While the situation is still being assessed, they could use our help in replacing clothes, aiding with housing, etc.

As of now, the apartment complex has not provided details on a new apartment unit for them. Unfortunately, they did not have renter’s insurance.
