Help Iman pay for her endometriosis surgery

I’m a year and a half older than Iman. Since we were very young, I’ve watched her struggle with horribly severe pain and other debilitating symptoms around her menstrual cycle. Eventually she learned it was connected to endometriosis. The pain and symptoms she lives with have only gotten worse and worse with time. She’s been going to doctors for years and years and has tried all sorts of things in search of relief. For some time she’s been told she should try surgery but she was too scared. Now she’s finally reached the point where she is willing to do whatever it takes. She researched and then bravely took the leap to go see a top surgeon for a consultation. If you are able, please consider helping her to repay the extremely generous loan her angel has provided. I know a happier and healthier life is possible for her. I love her more than words can say, and I’m so proud of her for asking for help.

Most of you who know me have often seen me stay home from gatherings, call out sick, or downright ralph [throw up] from my endometriosis. Endometriosis is an incurable disease that has left me spending days and weeks in bed. There is a very complex surgery that can help alleviate the pain. I’ve finally made the decision to get a laparoscopic surgery with the best endometriosis surgeon in California. He has a history of providing lasting relief to his patients, but it’s gonna cost 17k. Thanks to a friend and an angel I was lent the money (because I have to pay it all up front to the surgeon). This miraculous loan means I’m able to schedule this surgery swiftly. Perhaps I’ll be able to get out there more soon and start really living at last. I’m hoping to start off 2023 pain-free. The fundraiser says 10k but that’s not a minimum. Any little bit to help ease the financial stress will help me be able to heal without fear. 20 bucks here and there also would mean I can pay my friend and angel back sooner which would make me feel much better about the hugeness of the help they are providing with this loan.
