Help Imam Shpendim's Family

Donation protected
Our beloved Imam Shpendim of IANT Masjid in Richardson, TX, suffered tremendous loss last night. The devastating last night's  (Sunday, October 20th) tornado tore the house they were renting apart, sparing their lives alhamdulillah, but didn’t leave them without suffering physical and emotional pain. The wife, trying to shield their children, got hurt by falling debris and needs medical attention. They had to evacuate and leave the only place they called home, for good. They also lost two vehicles, furniture, and other possessions. It is heart wrenching to see how they have to rebuild their lives from scratch.

Now they need our help! Please give generously. The damage is beyond the amount that we're praying to raise, but the $70,000 would let them stand on their feet, God willing.

Our families have known each other ever since they moved from Rockford. We were neighbors when our daughters became good friends. They've been there for us anytime we needed them. Later, my family moved away from Richardson, but our friendship remained strong.

The money raised through this campaign will help the Nadzaku family of six, to purchase items that were destroyed by the tornado. It will help them secure a new house they're looking to rent, get the necessary household items and take care of basic needs. As the wife had to take the time off from work, she started a couple of months ago, this will also help them cover the loss of her income. Since two of the family vehicles were lost, the funds will help them pay for their daily transportation, until they are in the position to obtain a replacement.

They will be able to withdraw the money directly from their own account as soon as the withdrawal process by GoFundME is completed.

Allah is the most High, the Supreme! We ask you to please share your blessings with our IANT Family, our Leader, the reliance of our community, the source of wisdom and best guidance. May Allah bless Imam's  family and bless ours, to never let any of us suffer such a loss again. Jazakum Allah khayran for your generosity.

Lastly, Jazakum Allah khayran to all the volunteers who've been helping to cleanup the debris, who brought delicious food and also those, who've been there for spiritual support.
