Kristina and Imaad are two of my oldest and dearest friends.

As long time Altadena residents, they were forced to evacuate with their son, dog, two cats, and so many other residents of their beloved community. Unable to go home, it has been a struggle to get through the displacement.

The toll this is taking on them financially and emotionally is tremendous. Though they would never ask for help themselves, I am asking on their behalf.

Their house survived but much of the contents are unsalvageable. As they are both independently employed, their house is their work space and facing these financial setbacks with no home base has been a difficult task.

Through the generosity of friends, they've been able to keep a roof over their heads but it is now clear that they'll need more semi-permanent lodging and work space as they try and figure out how to move forward through the aftermath.

While it is uncomfortable to ask for help, especially as so many have lost so much, Imaad and Kristina and family are in need as well.
