Jed needs your help

Our new Tennessee senior Beagle rescue Jed (click on his name to see his Facebook recovery album), needs some donations to help with his medical bills. When I saw his first photo pleading for a rescue to help him, I knew we had to try.

Jed was found as a stray in the Brownsville area and he wound up in the same shelter we pulled our heartworm/ blasto Pointer Daisy from last January. Sadly, like her, he is also positive for heartworms and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. His incoming papers state he was covered in ticks. Thankfully, his chest x-rays look good and while his heart is on the larger size of normal, he does not have a murmur. His teeth, however, are in terrible shape and we have been building him up for a dental when he has his neuter the week of September 15th. Jed will probably loose a few teeth, but he will feel a lot better.

After a few weeks in foster care, Jed is feeling a whole lot better, great with his foster family and eating well, gaining weight and just being the sweetest ol guy. WE LOVE HIM!!
