Hello, I’m Julia, and this is a private fundraiser for someone I’ve known for a long time — a person who has dedicated her life to saving animals.

Ilknur is one of our project leaders at Precious Paw Patrons, a dedicated rescuer who has spent years helping animals in need through our project Whiskey Animal Rescue in Turkey.

She has saved and cared for countless cats and dogs, often working in difficult conditions — including rescuing animals from the Mersin shelter, one of the harshest environments imaginable. She has always chosen to help others first, even when it meant putting her own needs aside.

But now Ilknur urgently needs our help.

She is two months behind on rent — a total of 30,000 TL (about €620) — and her landlord has already threatened eviction. If she loses her home, she not only loses her own safety, but also the home and security of her cats, who have nowhere else to go.

As Precious Paw Patrons is a registered non-profit, we cannot use organizational donations for private living expenses, only for animal care (vet bills, food, medication, etc.).

That’s why this separate personal fundraiser is being set up: to help Ilknur keep her home.

Ilknur has spent years rescuing, feeding, and caring for the most vulnerable animals. Now, it’s our turn to help her. We only need €620 (30,000 TL) to cover two months of rent and prevent her from losing everything.
