Help Ilesa Ayo build A school and secure a new home

In the time since we founded Ilesa Ayo we have had the privilege of welcoming a strong community of students, educators, and supporters under our roof to carry out the dozens of classes, ceremonies, and festivals that make us who we are.

And now we’ve been presented with a challenge that we are using as an opportunity for the expansion of our mission.

Two weeks ago, the owner of the property that houses our temple informed us that they would be selling the property and that we had until June 30th to vacate.

Given our amicable and years long relationship with the property’s owner, this unanticipated news came as a surprise. But rather than merely looking to relocate the temple to another property under someone else’s ownership, we took this news as an invitation to revisit our broader visions for the Ile which has always been to own land with enough physical space to serve as our home and allow us to evolve the educational, ceremonial, and celebratory aspects of Ilesa Ayo’s community contributions.

At this time, we’ve found the land that would serve this purpose, but given the time constraints we need help to make this vision a reality.

In addition to serving our communities spiritual needs we are looking forward to offering the following:

Orisa Community garden and herb farm

Animal Husbandry (animal breeding and raising)

Affordable and sustainable housing

Orisa centered school for children

Wellness center for physical, mental and emotional assistance.

and much more.

With this being said the first step to this will be to secure the property that we will break ground on. We are confident that our community will support us as we have been honored to serve the last ten years.
