Gorilla glue won't fix Ilene's rotator cuff.
Donation protected
Duct tape won't work either!!
My left shoulder starting hurting a few months ago, and has gotten to the point that the pain wakes me up several times a night. Went to the Dr. and after an MRI found out that I need to have rotator cuff surgery. I have lived in Alaska most of my life and have never been into any kind of activities that I could have injured my shoulder. The Dr. stated that it can also be because of wear and tear - I am a baby boomer, so I am no spring chicken! Needless to say, I have a tendon that is torn about 60% and need this surgery before it tears all the way through. Medical bills are high here in Alaska. Those of you that live here know all to well. My out of pocket expenses for this surgery are going to be between $6,000 to $10,000, or more.
My surgery is scheduled for March 11th, and then I will have several months of physical therapy to regain the use of my shoulder. I have two weeks of accrued personal leave. After that, if I am not released to go back to work right away I will have 0 income.
I will be extremely grateful for anyone that can donate, which will help to keep me from going into debt because of this medical procedure. If you can't donate even $5, then please see it in your heart to share my story. If everyone can share, share, and share some more, the more exposure this will get. Thank you, and again - I am extremely grateful!! Ilene
