Help Ilene Build a Wheelchair Ramp!

Donation protected
Ilene Jones is a fountain of joy and warmth for those in her presence, families, and communities. She's always there with diet sodas, sweet pies, and a good laugh whenever you need, and she's always taking care of all the people around her, especially those most vulnerable. Despite various hardships in her own life, she never stopped extending all that she has to those in need around her. Many people wonder what's her secret magic in sustaining this endless fountain of joy and warmth within that pours out into others. Well, today is our lucky day, and we will find out!

A key part of Ilene Jones' secret magic in keeping the foundation of joy and warmth flowing comes from working in the garden under the sun amongst critters, birds, and plants, where the touch of earth recharges her mind and soul. Another key part of Ilene's secret magic in keeping the fountain of joy and warmth flowing comes from socializing and being around other people, where the company of others reminds her that we are not alone in caring for this world.

After struggling with cellulitis for years, Ilene began using a wheelchair to get around and about.  However, given that her house is not equipped with a wheelchair ramp, she can no longer get in and out of the house. Without being able to leave the house, she can no longer practice her secret magic of hanging out with people and working in her garden that kept her fountain of joy and warmth flowing in the community. THIS IS SERIOUS PEOPLE.

Thankfully, a few carpenter friends of Ilene have drawn up a construction plan to build a fully accessible wheelchair ramp around Ilene's house. However, in order to execute the construction plan, Ilene need to pay for the cost of materials for the wheelchair ramp that runs above $10,000, which she does not have.

Thus, as people in Ilene's community that depends on her endless fountain of joy and warmth, we ask that you chip in cash, if and however much you can, to help Ilene build a wheelchair ramp as soon as possible! If cash is not possible, we would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the news about our fundraiser across your networks. The sooner we can secure the funding, the sooner we can start building the ramp, and the sooner Ilene can get around again.

Please! And thank you.
