Help ILAN Heal

My four year old son Ilan is diagnosed with the neuro-immune disorder PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections). "PANDAS occurs when strep triggers a misdirected immune response and results in inflammation on a child’s brain. In turn, the child quickly begins to exhibit life changing symptoms such as OCD, anxiety, tics, personality changes, decline in math and handwriting abilities, sensory sensitivities, restrictive eating, and more" (pandasnetwork.org). Since the sudden and acute onset of PANDAS at 17 months, Ilan  suffered a debilitating developmental regression, and to this day has not yet recovered his ability to speak. Ilan requires daily intensive therapies, biomedical treatments, as well as consultations with specialists around the world. None of these costly services are covered by our state medicare system nor private medical insurance.
