Help Ikpemesi Get to AIMS GRATZ in Austria

Hi! My name is Ikpemesi Ogundare and I am Nigerian-American. I am a Junior Vocal performance major at Albion’s college in Albion, Michigan. As I begin to prepare for my grad school auditions, I have been applying to summer programs so that I can get further musical training. 

My dream is to become an Opera Singer and to tour the world making music and touching peoples lives. This spring on Feburary 28, 2019, I auditioned for the AIMS GRATZ program in Austria, Germany. I went on stage and sang my heart out. There are only a few spots and I was able to secure one of them! I am so blessed that I was accepted to the program but I now have to find a way to fund the trip. I have applied for scholarships and a work study for the program but, I also need to buy my plane ticket and pay for the rest of my tuition. In addition to this I need to have money for food and laundry. 

Any amount you you can donate will go a long way towards bringing me closer to my goal. 

In helping me go to Austria you will bring me one step closer to my dream of becoming an Opera Singer. I love music so much that I perform not only Opera but many other genres in addition to writing my own music.
