Help Ike Recover from Car Accident Loss
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Ike.
I'm a photographer and artist that has just recently moved to Missouri from Nebraska.
Within three weeks of the move, I was cooking breakfast in the kitchen when my Kia Rio, parked on the street outside of our house, was struck at high speed by a distracted driver. The damage was so severe that my car was completely totaled. Due to low coverage, insurance only reimbursed me for a partial amount, leaving me with no car to drive and a sizeable loan to pay off on a vehicle that has most likely been fed into a trash compactor.
So, because of this, I had to quit my photography job to take up something that doesn't require as much constant travel. And Because I live a little too far to walk, I have resorted to borrowing one of my roommates' cars (which they have very graciously allowed me to use) in order to commute to my new job. My family lives hours away and I am currently in a long-distance relationship, but needing to borrow a vehicle has made it extremely difficult to travel.
Although it's a little hard for me to ask for donations, I am hoping to raise enough money to at least pay off my existing loan so that I can finally save up for a new car and move forward with my life. Any amount you can spare would mean the world to me. Even a share would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!

Here's a picture I painted of me with my car:
In loving memory.
