Help Ihab finish his Master’s in Human Rights!

My name is Talia Ringer, and I am raising money to help my friend Ihab Hassan finish his Master's Degree in Human Rights.

Ihab has always been driven by a deep commitment to peace and human rights. Growing up as a Palestinian in Ramallah, he witnessed firsthand his community’s struggles. After finishing his Bachelor's degree in political science, this led him to the Catholic University of America, where he is now pursuing his Master’s degree in Human Rights.

Ihab’s passion for human rights is rooted in a desire to create a better future for all. But he needs your help finishing his Master’s so he can build this future. With just one year left of the program, he has just learned that the organization that had funded his scholarship ran into unforeseen financial difficulties, jeopardizing his ability to continue his education.

Despite this setback, Ihab’s determination to make a positive impact remains unwavering. Throughout his academic journey, he has focused on building bridges of understanding between different communities in the Middle East. It is in this context that I met Ihab—as an Israeli who also wants to see a better future for all of us, looking for friends who can build those bridges—and I am glad I did.

As a Palestinian, Ihab believes in the importance of dialogue and cooperation in achieving lasting peace. His ultimate hope is to see a future where Palestinians and Jews can coexist in harmony, where human rights are respected, and where peace prevails. Completing his Master's degree will equip him with the tools to realize this vision.

Your support, whether big or small, will bring him one step closer to realizing his vision. I will pass this money on to Ihab to help him pay for costs of living and educational costs during the remainder of his studies. Any excess funds will go to a charity of Ihab's choosing.
