Igor tragically lost the battle with COVID on Nov 02, 2021. He was 54 years old and is survived by his wife Margarita (Rita), and their 3 children, Nathan,22, Leon,19, and Anabelle,12. Igor was the primary provider for his family.

 

This fundraiser is on behalf of Igor's family. The money would go to help with the funeral expenses and to keep paying for the kids education and health expenses.

 

Igor came to the U.S in 1993 with his parents. He met Rita in 1998 and they fell in love. After only 3 months it became clear that they wanted to spend their life together. They were living their American dream - they got married, bought a house, had 3 beautiful children. Nathan is a student at University of Buffalo SUNY , Leon is a student at Farmingdale State College SUNY and Anabelle is in middle school.

 

Igor worked 22 years for the MTA. Margarita works as a medical biller for the Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital - the very hospital where Igor passed away.
