Hi all,
If you don’t know me, my name is Igor Karpovets. I am a Ukrainian living in New York and until 2017, Kyiv, Ukraine was my home.
On February 23rd, 2022 the world stopped for every Ukrainian. I have watched on the news as the streets and buildings I grew up in turned to rubble and our beautiful city, Kyiv, become unrecognizable.
This fundraiser is for my family and loved ones in Kyiv who have been directly impacted since the invasion began. Since then, my family and friends have lost their jobs, belongings, community and homes. My family has been forced to resettle in a new country as refugees while most of my friends remain in Kyiv in bomb shelters. These donations will go to my family and loved ones to provide proper food, clothing and shelter.
This is an unimaginable reality that I wish to make a little better for those who need it the most. All of your help and support is greatly appreciated. Continue to keep Ukraine in your hearts, thank you!
