Hello everyone,

I'm opening this GoFundMe page to raise funds to support my good friend Igor Gavin, who lost everything in the LA fire.

Igor lived in a rented mobile home in Palisades Park Bowl (16321-PCH) for the past 7.5 years.

On January 7, 2025, while Igor was out of the country, the Palisades fire destroyed his home and his car.

Igor got back to LA the next day to find he had no place to live, no car, and all things near and dear to his heart burned to the ground.

Igor moved to the US 35 years ago and worked as a scientist in the lab ever since. He is a problem-solver, always happy to help anyone who needs it without asking anything for himself. He worked hard to establish himself and now, at the age of 60, he needs to rebuild his life!

Igor does not like asking for help, but I, as his friend, see that he needs it. He will not be able to get back on his feet without community support. He needs help for daily living until he can get everything sorted out and go back to work, deposits for the new apartment, and furniture.

No amount is small and I appreciate you helping my friend. Thank you!
