Help Bring Sol Search to Life — An Original Indie Animated Series

Hi, I’m Niledile, a lifelong storyteller, artist, and the creator of Sol Search — an original animated passion project that’s been in development for years. I’m finally taking the leap to bring this world to life, and I’m asking for your help to fund the pilot episode.

What is Sol Search?

Sol Search is a sci-fi/fantasy animated series about grief, identity, and power — told through a fire-wielding protagonist named Sol, a fractured world teetering on the edge of war, and secrets that burn beneath the surface. If you love shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender or Arcane, you’ll feel right at home here — except this world is full of animal characters, emotional twists, and a story that’s been burning inside me since I was a kid.

We’ve launched a community Discord, opened up casting calls for voice actors, and built a small but talented team of artists, writers, and sound designers. Now, we need funding to take the next step.

What This Fund Supports:

We're raising funds to develop:

A high-quality teaser (1–2 min) to showcase the world and tone

A pilot episode (6–10 min) that introduces Sol and sets the story in motion

Fair pay for independent artists, voice actors, writers, sound designers, and animators involved

Software, production tools, and possible post-production needs (editing, sound mixing, etc.)

Every dollar helps us keep this indie, grassroots, and creatively free.
