Hi, my name is Leslie. On January 24th, a day after my aunt's birthday, my uncle Ignacio (Nacho) was taken by ICE at his Tamales Spot on 62nd and Main. He has been here 18 years in this country. He is a husband, a brother, a father, and an uncle, but one thing for sure, he is not a criminal! He has two kids: one is in her senior year of high school and one is in his freshman year of high school, and a loving wife who, with arms full, will help anyone with anything. My uncle has dedicated his life to working for his family and helping others. He was the first uncle I met from my mom’s side and was the one to always look out for us. He has never done anything wrong in this country. He has always paid his taxes since the moment he stepped foot in this country. We are all distraught over this news.
