Help Iglesia Misión Divina Complete Their Church Home

After more than 14 years of faithfully renting space, Iglesia Misión Divina Church has taken a long-awaited step of faith: we purchased our very first official church building in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

We are a Hispanic Christian church affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Since 2010, we have served our community by sharing the gospel, discipling families, and creating a place of worship and hope—while renting space from another church. We are deeply grateful for that season, but we believe God is now leading us into something new.

The photos shown above reflect this journey—images of the church building, outside but also the inside, as it currently stands during an intense season of demolition and renovation. They also include photos of our lead pastors and an image of our congregation worshiping together. These images represent not only where we are in the process, but the heart with which we hope to enter this new building: a heart of worship, faith, and deep gratitude.

This building represents more than walls and rooms. It will be a permanent home where:
  • Families can gather and grow in faith
  • Youth can find belonging and purpose
  • Lives can be transformed through worship, prayer, and the Word of God

While we believed we would begin this year worshiping in our new building, unexpected renovation needs and costs have delayed our opening. At this time, we are carrying the financial responsibility of two major commitments—continuing to pay rent for the building we currently worship in, while also paying the mortgage for our new church building that is still under construction.

In addition, everything happening across the state of Minnesota has deeply impacted our church. Many of our families are facing uncertainty, fear, and financial strain, which has affected attendance, giving, and overall stability during this season. As a church, our heart has been to walk closely with our people—offering prayer, support, and hope—while trusting God to sustain us through this difficult time.

Despite these challenges, our church family has stepped up in an incredible way. Volunteers from our own congregation have been serving daily, giving their time, energy, and skills to help with the renovation process. All of this work has been done entirely by volunteers, motivated by faith and love for God’s house.

Even so, we remain confident in one truth: nothing is impossible for God!!

How Funds Will Be Used
All donations will go directly toward completing the renovation of our church building, including:
  • Drywall and insulation
  • Construction materials and supplies
  • Flooring installation
  • Painting and finishing work
  • Helping pay down the mortgage on our church building while renovations are completed

These renovations are essential for us to safely open our doors and begin worshiping in our new church home.
