A different car, a different user.
Back in 2020, a iFunny user by the name of New_California_Republic (NCR) made a post about wanting to compete in the Gambler 500. The Gambler 500 is a car rally where contestants are challenged with purchasing a car for cheap and travel as far as you can through Oregon. You win by being able to complete the route. NCR raised enough funds to compete and bought a car and dubbed it “Curse Breaker”, which was a reference to the infamous iFunny car curse. NCR and his friends were able to complete the route. Now, I want to try this challenge.
Not only is the Gambler 500 a fun challenge, but it also acts as a community clean-up project. Contestants are encouraged to clean up roads and trails while they attempt to complete the route.
This year’s Gambler 500 will take place on July 14th - 16th. I will be posting live updates and videos through my iFunny account; LFunnyComments.
