Help Ieesha and family - Home Fire Recovery Fund

On Saturday, May 8th, 2021, my friend Ieesha Lake a.k.a BraidsbyIeesha to many and her family, lost their home and belongings in a house fire. Ieesha and her husband were both at work while her 5-month-old baby boy, mother-in-law, and sister and her babies were at home sleeping when the fire broke out in their home garage. Thankfully, everyone was able to escape the home free of harm! Praise be to God for that. We are so grateful that everyone is physically okay and full of life.

Ieesha and Khali recently moved to GA from VA to start their new life as a family, so this fire is truly devastating. Ieesha and her family are currently displaced, and they are now staying in a hotel until they can figure out their next move.

Ieesha has been truly a blessing to so many. I would love for us to bless her and her family. Fires not only tear through homes and your personal belongings, but victims experience financial difficulties and emotional stress.

With today being Ieesha's first Mother's Day - I am hopeful that we will ease some of the burdens that they will face as they begin to piece back together this part of their lives and find a new place to call home.
