We’re so proud to share that Ida, age 12, has been selected to represent Great Britain in the Under 15 age group at the Biathle European Championships in Turkey this November 2025!

This is a huge achievement & an incredible opportunity for Ida to compete at a high level, gain international experience, & continue her journey in a sport she loves.

So who is Ida?

Ida is a talented and dedicated young athlete from Preston who is excelling across football, swimming, and running.

She currently plays football for the Under-13s Schools City Team, contributing to their success in winning to an incredible treble: League Champions, League Cup Winners, and Lancashire Cup Winners. She also represents Myerscough Under-12s, where she helped lead the team to win the Lancashire Cup.

In the pool, Ida swims with Preston Swimming Club and has recently been selected for the Swim England Regional Development Programme (2025–2026) — a prestigious recognition of her talent and potential. This programme is the 2nd step on the Swim England Talent Pathway.

Expanding her athletic skill set, Ida decided to take up running training in Dec 2024 and has already made a mark in biathle competitions. After competing in just two events, her performance in the second earned her selection to represent Team GBR at the European Championships in Turkey — an incredible achievement in such a short time.

Whether it’s on the pitch, in the pool, or racing on the track, Ida continues to shine as a hardworking, driven, and versatile young athlete with a bright future ahead.

What is Biathle?

Biathle is a demanding multisport event that combines running & swimming in a continuous race. It takes serious commitment, discipline, & passion — all of which Ida has shown in abundance through her training & competitions over the past year.

Being chosen to represent Team GB at just 12 years old is a dream come true, & now we’re asking for your help to make it a reality.

Why We’re Raising £2,000

Competing in the European Championships is an incredible honour, but it also comes with significant costs. We’re aiming to raise £2,000 to help cover:

• Flights & accommodation in Turkey

• Entry fees & official Team GB kit

• Travel insurance and local transport

• Food, training gear, and other essentials
