Iche's Story
In the 12.03.2020 just during in the beginning of the Covid issue, I had to fly out the country because of my Tourist Australian Visa would be expired within one week. I flew to Indonesia, expecting would be return to Australia within 2 weeks. But I lost the chance to return, because of the outbreaks of Covid-19 has just begun. I've been stuck in Indonesia since that day. During Ramadhan month (April-May) I got sick which I fell like heart burn, uncomfortable feeling in stomach, so I went to see doctors a few times in a month, finally I got diagnosed with cervical cancer on 2b stadium. Doctor recommended me to do surgery, but I didn't go there, I took herbalic therapy instead. Herbal was good, made me feel healthy and good stamina, but something inside there was still haven't changed significantly.
I have been still waiting to return
to Australia latest in August, but sadly, apart from Citizen was not possible to enter Australia. Because I am Swedish citizen, to stay in Indonesia also need to extend the Visa which was valid till 20/09/2020. So I decided to go back to Sweden for the best Medical treatment which urgently needed. Now I am here in the right hands and having the treatments started from beginning as I have done in Indonesia, but here the final diagnosed they found is even worse, the size of ca cerviks are getting bigger and already spread up seriously.
Surgery is not recommended. Only 2 ways of treatments: Radiation everyday in 4 weeks and after its done Chemotherapy will be on going once every 3rd week. It will start i the mid of December. for how long this treatment I don't know yet, depends on how bad the spreading up on going. Hopefully I will not live with it for the rest of my life.
The radiation is almost done. I hope I shall not come back in there again, because my stomach hurts every after 3 hours of treatment
If somebody asks me why I didn't do surgery since I had it in Indonesia? Because I am not a citizen, I was not ready with the huge of cost would be in the future and thinking of all the medical treatments over there, would that be as good as in other countries? Let's say as Australia and Europe.
For medical treatment in Sweden almost everything free except the medicines have to pay by yourselves, also Patient hotell where now I am staying for a month.
Since I left Australia, I have no income but spent money for living and all stuff are going on, my savings almost gone. Luckily I have somebody around here help me sometime.
