My name is Nathalie, and I am raising funds on behalf of my family after the tragic loss of my cousin, Ibrahyn Oswaldo Rodríguez Díaz.

Ibrahyn was a kind and cheerful man who brought smiles wherever he went. He was a proud father, an amazing brother, and a devoted son.

Today, December 15, 2025, he would have turned 39 years old. On December 9, 2025, which was also his father’s birthday, he was brutally murdered in Colombia in what appears to have been a robbery. His wallet, phone, and personal belongings were taken from the scene. Unfortunately, most of his family lives in Venezuela and is unable to cover funeral expenses, let alone the cost of transporting his body back home. Due to the nature of the crime, his body cannot be cremated.

Most of our family resides in Venezuela, where wages barely cover food and basic necessities. His surviving father and sister are now facing overwhelming costs related to funeral arrangements and travel so they can say their final goodbyes.

Ibrahyn era un hombre alegre y bondadoso que llevaba sonrisas a dondequiera que iba. Era un padre orgulloso, un hermano increíble y un hijo ejemplar.

El 9 de diciembre de 2025, día del cumpleaños de su padre, fue brutalmente asesinado en Colombia en lo que parece haber sido un robo. Su billetera, teléfono y pertenencias personales fueron robados del lugar. Lamentablemente, la mayor parte de su familia se encuentra en Venezuela y no cuenta con los recursos para cubrir los gastos funerarios, y mucho menos para trasladar su cuerpo a Venezuela. Debido a la naturaleza del crimen, su cuerpo no puede ser cremado.

La mayoría de nuestra familia vive en Venezuela, donde los salarios apenas alcanzan para cubrir alimentos y necesidades básicas. Su padre y su hermana, quienes sobreviven, enfrentan ahora costos abrumadores relacionados con los arreglos funerarios y los gastos de viaje para poder despedirse de él.
