I'm Alysia from New Jersey. I was reached out to by Ibrahim's family to help raise funds to help them evacuate after being displaced numerous times. Read his story below:

I am here Ibrahim, 13 years old, the older brother of two other children. We live with my mother and her large family in one tent, we are 24 people. My father and mother separated three years ago, and I took it upon myself to bear the responsibility with my mother. After the events of October 7, everything became more difficult. We were forced to stop studying. I dreamed of growing up and becoming a doctor so I could treat patients and help my family and compensate my mother, but everything was destroyed. Our schools were destroyed, our homes and our source of livelihood. We have nothing left. I need your help to travel outside the country, as traveling for one person costs $5,000 and we are unable to cover the amount. Our current goal starting out will pay 2 people to evacuate and we are large family. The only way out for me to complete my studies is to travel and start a new life in a safe country. Please do not abandon us.
