Help Ibrahim's Family Rebuild Their Lives in Gaza

Dear Compassionate Donors,
I am Ibrahim Ghaboun, writing to you on behalf of my family of ten, who are currently enduring unimaginable hardships due to the devastating war in Gaza. We have faced countless challenges, but with your support, we believe we can rebuild our lives and create a future filled with hope.
My father, Khaled, dedicated 40 years of his life to selling ready-made clothes in the different markets of Gaza. He was a man of resilience, providing for us through his hard work. However, the worsening economic conditions in Gaza have taken their toll, leaving him with insurmountable debts and no means to support us. Yet, my father's dream remains alive—he yearns to return to his trade after the war, to open a small store, and to pay off the debts that weigh heavily on his heart.
My mother, Abeer, is the pillar of our family. She has stood by us through every storm, her strength unwavering. Skilled in cooking, she dreams of launching a small project to provide traditional Palestinian meals. Her passion for cooking is a beacon of hope in these dark times.
My older brother, Yousef, is a talented digital marketing specialist who once worked with prestigious businesses worldwide. He contributed significantly to our family's expenses, but since the onset of the war, he has lost his income. Despite multiple attempts to resume work, the lack of electricity and poor internet connection have thwarted his efforts, leaving him frustrated and without a way to support us.
My sister Ghaidaa, a fresh graduate of Business Administration, is exceptionally smart and organized. However, the war has robbed her of the opportunity to enter the job market. She dreams of using her skills to help our family rise from these ashes.
Rozan, another sister, is a recent IT graduate who was diligently working to hone her programming skills. The war abruptly halted her progress, but she hasn't lost her passion. Like our mother, Rozan dreams of contributing to a family project that will serve delicious Palestinian meals, combining her love for cooking with her desire to help our family.
Nouran, our bright and ambitious sister, was on the brink of entering high school with dreams of studying dentistry. Yet, the war has deprived her of her education, leaving her dreams on hold. She longs to return to her studies, to pursue her passion and help those in need.
And then there are Basmala, Mohammed, and Ahmed, the youngest in our family. Instead of enjoying their childhood and attending school, they now spend their days collecting firewood, standing in long lines for water, and lighting fires for cooking. Their innocence has been stolen by the harsh realities of war.
Since December 24, 2024, our family has been living in a tent, having been evacuated more than five times, most recently to Mawwasi Khanyounis in southern Gaza. Our safety and our dreams have all been shattered. But we refuse to give up.
We are reaching out to you, kind-hearted donors, to help us rebuild our lives. Your generosity can bring my father's store back to life, allow my mother to start her cooking project, and give my siblings the chance to pursue their dreams once more. With your support, we can rise from this devastation and build a future filled with hope and dignity.
Thank you for your compassion and for considering our plea. Your support means the world to us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ibrahim Ghaboun
