We’re the 7th-grade Leadership class at Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School in Pacifica, CA, and we’ve noticed something important: many locals and visitors aren’t aware of key ocean-safety tips.

To fix that, we created an easy-to-use, informative beach-safety map packed with tips to help everyone enjoy the ocean safely. We plan to share it with local students, small businesses, hotels, the police and fire departments, and the Pacifica City Council.

To bring our project to life, we’re raising funds to cover printing costs for the map and interactive materials we’ll share in schools and around town.

Every dollar helps us spread awareness and protect our beautiful coastline.
