Hello, My name is Ian. Back in 2019 I had skiing accident and discovered I had a brain tumor. We left it alone and in March 2024 the tumor grew and my Neurosurgeon went in and removed it Aug 2024. The surgery went great and I was back on my feet and work after a month. I was diagnosed with an ependymoma They were unable to get the entire tumor out. We decided localized Proton Therapy would be the best course of action to prevent the tumor from coming back. I underwent 6 weeks of treatment. (Late Jan 2025-End of Feb 2025) Fast forward to Feb 2026 and the smalll remaining tumor decided to grow and the best course of action was removal. I went under the knife once more on March 13th, and had the remainder successfully removed. I was on the mend for two weeks before I lost all progress and can now barely walk. and function on my own. I was hoping to be recovering at home or at least be back to normal by now. I am now suffering from swelling into my brain stem. Doctors do not seem to have any answers at the moment. So I am looking to raise money to help off set my raising medical costs and costs to live since I am unsure when I will be able to return to work.
