Help Ian to have a quality of life after his accident.

Hi my name is Elaine and I am fundraising for my husband Ian. He has had Parkinson’s for eleven years and was coping quite well until he fell in our living room two years ago. Due to a lack of physio intervention at the crucial time after the fall he hasn’t walked for two years. I try to take him out in his wheelchair as much as I can but having Chronic fatigue I am limited by my lack of energy. The wheelchair he was given by Wheelchair Services is a manual chair which is now very uncomfortable and so he is limited by how long he can sit in it. Things have become more complicated after we have found he has two fractures of the lower back, possibly because of the lack of support in his wheelchair.
The wheelchair that has been designed for him has good support and he can spend more time in it going to places that he enjoys. It is electric so it will be far easier for me to take him out and about. It will cost over £6770. The wheelchair is a Q300 M Mini (Dynamics & P&G).it has a SEDEO head rest for his comfort and the seat can be elevated so he can be involved in the cooking (which he loved doing). It has straps to help his posture and controls at the back for me to guide him. The cushions will give good support as his back is so sore.
I pay for physio for him three times per week because the NHS hasn’t got the capacity to help him. Please help give him a quality of life - no donation is too small. Thank you for any help.
