Ian is a loving, playful man who is deeply valued in our authentic relating community. He is skillful at holding space for others and is always ready to offer support and connection. Ian is also a devoted father to his young son, who lives with him and depends on his care and stability.

Recently, Ian has been faced with an overwhelming crisis. A contractor performed faulty work that resulted in his entire house being flooded. To make matters worse, the contractor did not have insurance and cannot pay for the damages. An investigation revealed that mold had spread throughout the home. When the landlord tried to dry the house with industrial fans, it only made things worse—mold spores were blown all over Ian's belongings, contaminating nearly everything he owns. Now, instead of helping, the landlord is evicting Ian and his son, leaving them without a safe place to live and with most of their possessions at risk.

On top of everything, Ian has come to understand that he is suffering from a severe mold infection. His son’s health has also been compromised. The funds raised will help Ian and his son find a new home, safely store and clean their belongings, cover medical costs for mold-related health issues, and pay legal fees to pursue justice against the landlord and contractor. Every dollar raised will help Ian and his son recover from this crisis and rebuild their lives.
