Hi, my name is Ian.

On October 27th, 2022 I was involved in a work related accident and fell off a roof while working for a local window washing company.

The fall and injury caused damage to my spine, lower extremities and right shoulder. The injury has left me disabled and unable to work while dealing with Workers Compensation.

Due to my injuries I have been classified by my doctors as “permanent and stationary” leaving me unable to receive state disability benefits. My attorney advised me I can only receive Social Security benefits, which I have applied for but due to my age (26) I have been having a hard time getting help from Social Security.

My lack of financial support has made it difficult to pay for things like rent and car insurance which has forced me to move out of the place I was staying and into my car. Unable to live out of my car due to my disability I have been taken in by my aunt while utilizing my car to store my personal belongings. I’ve also been unable to afford full vehicle insurance coverage, only being able to afford liability coverage on my car.

On February 5th, 2026 I was driving when a coyote ran out in front of my car. Unable to stop or swerve I hit the coyote and was forced to stop and pull over. The damage to my car was so severe I couldn’t drive it, with damage to the radiator, radiator mount, coolant reservoir, sensors, drive belt, front bumper, among other issues. I was able to get it towed into an auto shop where I have been quoted with a repair for $3,881.58

I have already reached out to my insurance company to make a claim. They advised me that due to only having liability coverage and sort of accident it was that they would not be able to cover me.

I do not have any financial support for this so I made this Gofundme in hopes that I can get some help to pay for this repair and keep my car running. I need it to get to my monthly doctor’s appointments and continue receiving treatment for my work related injuries.

Even the smallest amount is helpful at this point.
