Hello, my name is Ian Neseth.
While walking home alone after work on the night of December 8, 2025—just half a block from my house—I was violently and randomly attacked by strangers. I was struck from behind, knocked unconscious, and brutally assaulted.
During the attack, I was beaten unconscious with brass knuckles and stabbed in my left eye.
I somehow managed to make it home before collapsing from blood loss. I was rushed to Harbor City Hospital, where I spent fourteen days under emergency care. Doctors later told me the devastating news: my left eye had been completely destroyed and could not be saved. As a result, it was necessary to undergo multiple surgeries to remove my ruptured left eye.
This has been not only physically traumatic, but life-altering in every way.
I am currently have no income, medical bills are piling up, and I am struggling to cover basic living expenses.
I never imagined I would be in a position where I had to ask for help like this—but right now, I cannot do this alone.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
Medical expenses and ongoing care
Rent, food, and essential bills
Supporting me while I recover and rebuild my life
Your support will give me the chance to focus on healing and finding a path forward after this traumatic event. I am determined to rebuild, pursue new opportunities, and not let this define the rest of my life—but I need help to get there.
If you are unable to donate, even sharing my story would mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time.
Sincerely,
Ian
