Not His Happiest Birthday…
As Ian’s father, I created this GoFundMe campaign to assist Ian with his efforts to rid himself of testicular cancer and return to health. He learned of his diagnosis two days before his 40th birthday and within a week had the surgery to remove the cancerous testicle. Then he was faced with chemotherapy.
I am renewing my request at this time because Ian after having had his surgery and endured three rounds of chemotherapy, he is now working hard to recover his previous state of health.
Many people have been extremely generous and caring through their contributions that have helped him not worry about living expenses, and instead focus on healing. The post-chemo prognosis is excellent, but he is not yet able to resume regular activities or work. He is managing his diet, walking and working out in increasing amounts daily, and striving to move past this chapter. We as family are providing additional financial support and we are extremely hopeful that his arc of recovery will be swift.
I am asking for your help one more time. Our goal of $15,000 was determined with a careful eye towards his budget and we are more than half way to that number. Please consider helping one more time, and also to repost this link so others might join us in reaching our goal.
Even sharing this link to your network of friends would be appreciated and a big help!
I am extremely grateful for the loving support of everyone who has contributed. This has been challenging for us all and knowing that others care enough to help is beyond wonderful! Thank you for all you have done so far. Please consider helping again and know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
In gratitude
David Keeber (Ian's Dad)
