Hello, my name is Ashley Schisel.

On December 28th, 2022, we received a phone call to rush Ian down to St. Luke's hospital in Milwaukee, WI after he received abnormal labs. After further tests, Ian was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Friday, December 30th. At this time, we are expecting at least 2-4 weeks at St. Luke's for treatment for the first phase. However, overall we are looking at a 2-4 year treatment plan with numerous phases. As of now though, the prognosis is looking good, so that is what we are focusing on.

It is very unlike our character to even do anything like a GoFundMe page during hard times. But this next month is going to be extremely hard on us with Ian not working as well as myself working in Green Bay, taking care of an infant in Manitowoc and looking over my husband in Milwaukee. And not to mention the medical bills that are going to come after all of this.

We have a long road ahead, but we are optimistic that Ian will overcome this!
