The Dream

Ian and Jess have recently taken the first step in achieving their dream to own and operate their own restaurant. After years of hunting for the perfect place, they have finally purchased an old bar and restaurant in the upper Delaware. They have renamed it the Old Foundation and are incredibly excited to create something special. Ian and Jess have already made some small improvements and have started building relationships with the community - recently hosting a hugely successful holiday toy drive for the local school.

About Ian and Jess:

Every time we see Ian and Jess they are offering us a taste of some new dish or drink that they’ve created. When we’re winding down for the night they are often tinkering away in the kitchen, busy melding new flavors and trying out twists on recipes. It is clear they have the most fun when they are creating, experimenting, and tasting. Their shared passion is more than just cooking - it’s creating an atmosphere where people can enjoy food, drink, and good company. They are the most welcoming and joyous hosts that we know, and this restaurant will give them the opportunity to extend that hospitality to anyone who walks through their doors.
