Last May, Maria and I adopted Mater from Louie’s Legacy after spending his life being abused (his abusers left him blind in his right eye) as a puppy mill stud. Mater loves to eat and decided it would be a good idea to eat the rocks from a gravel pathway beside our house. While he did vomit some of the rocks (40), surgery was required to remove 71 rocks to prevent further issues. Thankfully the surgery was a success and Mater is recovering but this has left us in a financial hardship.
