Hypersonic Racing is a student engineering team from Tanglin Trust School in Singapore, made up of six passionate students in Years 10–12. As a predominantly female team, women in STEM is at the heart of our identity. We believe in excellence and mentoring younger students in CAD, manufacturing, and project management, so our legacy continues long after we graduate.
This season, we achieved 1st place and Fastest Car at the Dulwich Friendly, followed by 3rd place and the Best Engineered Car Award at the Singapore National Finals. These results qualified us to represent Singapore at the 2026 STEM Racing World Finals, where we’ll compete against teams from 65 countries. STEM Racing is a global competition where students design, test, manufacture, and race miniature CO₂ powered Formula 1 style cars. Teams are judged on engineering, portfolios, presentations, branding, sustainability, and project management, just like real F1 teams. Our cars go through over 50 design iterations using industry standard CAD and CFD software, CNC machining, and 3D printing.
Competing at the World Finals is a dream, but it comes with real costs. We’re raising funds to cover car research and development, pit display materials, and team branding. Every contribution helps us represent Singapore, and inspire more girls and young kids to pursue STEM. We’d be grateful for your support, and for sharing our page to help us reach the world stage.
