Help Hyde Elementary Robotics Get to VEX Worlds!

We are beyond excited to share that our Hyde Elementary VEX IQ Robotics team has qualified for the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship! This is a huge deal—not just for our kids, but for our entire school and district.

Out of all the teams in Clear Creek ISD (CCISD), we are one of only three elementary teams to earn a spot at this international competition! And they didn’t just qualify—they won the Excellence Award at their regional tournament, the highest honor given for teamwork, engineering, and overall performance.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity

For four out of our five team members, this will be their first time ever competing at VEX Worlds. They’ve worked incredibly hard all season, spending countless hours designing, building, programming, and problem-solving. This experience will not only be unforgettable—it will inspire them to continue pursuing STEM and innovation in the future.

Why We Need Your Help

This is an incredible opportunity, but the costs of attending VEX Worlds are more than our families can manage alone. We’re asking for your help to make this dream possible!

Here’s what we’re budgeting for:

Expense Estimated Cost

VEX Worlds Registration Fee $1,800

Hotel (5 nights, 2-3 rooms) $2,000 - $2,500

Food (for 5 kids + coach) $1,000

Travel (gas, parking, etc.) $500

Team T-shirts & Event Supplies $300

Total Goal $6,000

We know this is a big ask, but every donation—big or small—gets us closer to making this happen for these hardworking kids.
