In the past two years, Haitian Homeopaths has been remarkably successful in providing health services in the countryside of Haiti.
On August 14th Les Cayes area suffered widespread damage and high casualties following a magnitude 7.2 earthquake.
Amidst gasoline shortages, food and political insecurity, road closures due to gang activity, and COVID, Haitian clinical teams traveled to Les Cayes within 48 hours of August's devasting earthquake to set up homeopathic trauma care mobile clinics.
The team has returned to the area multiple times, serving 15 communities of 2-3,000 people, where there is an extreme limit of health care providers and medications.

Last week the clinical director, Dr Joey Prosper, learned of a tent community in Sous Roche, near Les Cayes. After visiting there, Dr Prosper reported that, "their condition is the worse. The government has totally abandoned them. They received a little food just after the earthquake and nothing else since August 2021."
For most people in this region they are without financial means to pay for health care, transportation and food. When and if they can get to a larger city, many of the hospitals/health clinics are not functioning. The devastation in the region has resulted with doctors not being paid and the dispensaries are without medications.
Dr Prosper goes on to report, "This is a very frustrating situation. It is a shame how people are being neglected. Our homeopathic clinics have already served more than 1 thousand people in this region. We are ready to send a team to Sous Roche to help care for their most basic health care needs."
With your donation, for just $8 a patient per visit, a mobile clinic team can provide much-needed care to people displaced and traumatized by the earthquake. The subsequent on-going earthquakes in the area continues to add layers of fear and trauma for the residents. Clinic teams offer free services along with the homeopathic medicines. The team also provide follow-up care, generally 6-8 weeks later.
