Over the past several years, Huxley has developed increasing pain and mobility problems. Recently, his condition has gotten worse. He cries when he moves or is picked up, limps, and sometimes holds his tail stiffly downward when he is hurting. We have taken him to the vet multiple times, but his pain has not been properly controlled, and it has been heartbreaking to watch him struggle.
We are now trying to get Huxley evaluated by a higher-level veterinary hospital so we can understand what is causing his pain and get him the relief he deserves. Unfortunately, we are financially limited and cannot afford the cost of this care on our own.
The funds raised will go directly toward veterinary exams, diagnostic imaging, and pain management. This is not about extreme or experimental treatment. It is about relieving his pain, getting answers, and making the most humane decision for him so he does not continue to suffer.
Any amount helps more than we can express. If you are unable to donate, sharing this also means a great deal to us. Thank you for taking the time to read Huxley’s story and for caring about him.
