My husband and I were driving home and saw an approximately 1 year old cat in the road. He had been hit and was bleeding and scared. We stopped and blocked him so that he wouldn’t get hit again by any other passing cars. As soon as we were able to we scooped him up and rushed him to the emergency vet clinic. We turned him over to the vet and waited in the car to find out about the sweet kitty, my husband covered in blood. The doctors aren’t sure the prognosis until he can be seen by a surgeon but something in us told us we had to take care of him. He’s got some hefty bills coming in already but we’re prepared to make the sacrifices to save him.

We’ve named him Garrison after the street we found him on, and if he makes it through, he’ll be coming to live with us and get endless snuggles. We’re hoping to be able to get some pictures from the vet to share with everyone. He was bleeding too much last night to be able to get any.

While nothing is expected, anything is greatly appreciated!
