Help Support Huong & Her Family

In September of 2021, my mom’s dear friend, Huong Tran, at 48 years young, was bared with news she never thought she’d ever hear. She was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 bone cancer. 

It all started when she experienced unendurable back pain, and after 6 trips to the emergency room, the doctors were unable to identify the cause of her pain, and were adamant that nothing was wrong. As the cancer aggressively spreads to her lungs she was told devastating news from her doctor a few weeks ago that she has approximately six months left to live as she goes in for her third chemotherapy treatment. 

As her bone cancer metastasizes throughout her body, she worries for her ability to provide for her children as her cancer has impacted her mental and physical well-being. With the time the doctors say she has left, she worries how her children will be able to support themselves. She is mother of 3, Connie (12 y/o), Goretti (19 y/o), and Quoc (27 y/o). 

With the money we raise, I personally asked Huong what she would like to use the funds for and she said that she would like to use the funds for rent at the apartment they live in and for basic necessities (food/clothes).

I am sharing Huong’s story with her permission to support her and her family. It would mean the absolute world to Huong knowing that her children have financial support.
