On July 18, 2025 Abbey took Hunter took to the ER thinking he had appendicitis and left with news that no parent wants to hear. Hunter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was air lifted to Riley in Indianapolis where his journey has started to fight this battle. Abbey, Christopher, and the boys were visiting in Evansville when they got the news so they are away from their home and all their stuff in Colorado. They have a long road ahead of them with and will be away from home for a while so donations will help them with their daily living expenses as they take care of themselves and their 3 kiddos.
