On December 22nd, Hunter and Shayla’s world was turned upside down when a devastating house fire destroyed their home and left Shayla and their three children with serious injuries. Shayla was home with their kids—Brayden (2 months), Lovelynn (2 years), and Grayson (4 years)—when the fire broke out. In an act of incredible bravery, she managed to get all of them out of the burning house, but not without suffering herself. Shayla has second and third degree burns on her face and hands, and all three children were injured. Brayden suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation, Lovelynn was treated for smoke inhalation, and Grayson has burns on 45% of his body and faces a long hospital stay as he heals.

The family lost everything in the fire and is now facing a long and difficult journey to recovery. The funds raised will help cover mounting medical bills, provide temporary housing, and replace essential items like clothing and food. Shayla’s courage saved her children’s lives, but they need our help to rebuild and recover.
