Help Hunter Attend Victor Wooten's Music Camp

For the past 14 years (with a little pandemic break) Mako Music has sent students to "Wooten Woods," (otherwise known as Victor Wooten's center for music and nature), often free of charge or with the costs defrayed.

This camp has hosted more than 20 Mako students at it's camps over the years, and it has proven to be a life-changing, one of a kind experience that has changed many lives for the better. (for more info, go to vixcamps.com)

This year we are raising funds for "Hunter" to go to the camp. Hunter is 15 years old, and an amazing drummer and singer. But more importantly, he is a fantastic kid, always down to help with anything at Mako or anything that will help the kids at Mako. Truly, this is an opportunity that Hunter would never be able to have without this gofundme, and he is very deserving. He is a member of our "all-stars," and someone who EVERYONE likes and appreciates at our school, Mako Music. He's also an unabashed wrestling fan, and participates in marching band.

There are two other Mako kids going too this camp, and if enough funds are raised for Hunter's tuition, additional costs such as transportation (11 hour drive) and the mandatory chaperone fee (for all three) will be defrayed by the fundraising here.

Costs include $1800 for tuition, $500.00 transportation/meals/accommodations, $500 chaperone fee.

As the founder of Mako, I have been to this camp many many times, and it has changed my life indelibly and for the best. I have seen so many of my kids benefit from this amazing camp. The best possible music instruction from some of the best musicians and teachers in the world. It is a special place, and I know Hunter will benefit. Lets make this happen, Thanks to everyone!
